Continuing Education For Licensed ElectriciansAn Important Advisory Regarding Renewals of Electrical and Plumbing Licenses
In accordance with Public Act 02-142, and pursuant to Section 20-334d of the Connecticut General Statutes, all types of Electrical and Plumbing license holders must obtain continuing education hours of instruction to renew their respective licenses in the year 2005 and each year afterward.
This requirement is mandatory in order for you to properly obtain your license and to prevent jeopardizing your right to practice your profession by failing to comply.
NECA & IBEW Local 90 JATC is proud to be a provider for the required continuing education. We are committed to providing the highest quality training for the electrical industry. Classes are open to all electrical license holders and are scheduled throughout the year. Check the calendar for dates and license category available.
To register for a class download the Registration Form and return it with your payment. Directions will be mailed with your receipt and confirmation. The cost of the course is $125.00 including a textbook, lunch, breaks and a certificate of completion. In addition to the information included with your registration fee, the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection Requires all license holders to bring their own copy of the 2005 National Electrical Code © and one of the following books of changes. Significant Changes to the 2005 NEC by Thompson Delmar, 2005 Stallcup's Illustrated Code Changes, or Analysis of Changes. These books are available for purchase. The cost of the books is $65.00 for the 2005 National Electrical Code © and $40.00 for Significant Changes to the 2005 NEC by Thompson Delmar, $52.00 for Stallcups, and $50.00 for Analysis of Changes. Prices includes sales tax and are subject to change.
